Pattern Magic - Tomoko Nakamichi

This is my latest buy from Amazon 'Pattern Magic', a cult pattern-cutting book from Japan by Tomoko Nakamichi. inspiration taken from nature, geometric shapes, and from the street, this book gives the joy of making and sculpting clothes. It gives you step-by-step instructions to different fabric manipulations. I am looking forward to experimenting!! 

Maurizio Anzeri Exhibition

 I visited a Maurizio Anzeri Exhibition at The Baltic not so long ago. He uses various materials in his work, and his main starting point is the human body. The exhibition was Anzeri's first solo exhibition in the UK, bringing together a group of his recent work that combines found photographs and embroidery.
